Consumer Rights and Responsibilities

Rights

The customer has the right to:

• Receive clear, accessible, and accurate information about the products, their sales conditions, and delivery details;
• Access support channels and clarify any questions before, during, and after purchase;
• Receive the purchased products in accordance with the agreed timelines and conditions;
• Exercise the right of withdrawal, when applicable, under the terms of the law.

Responsibilities

The customer agrees to:

• Provide accurate, up-to-date, and complete information for billing and shipping purposes;
• Respect the agreed payment methods and deadlines;
• Ensure proper product conservation in case of exchange or return;
• Comply with legal timeframes for complaints and formal communications.

Shipping

Amar&Peónias ships to Mainland Portugal, Islands, and other international destinations upon request.

• Products with immediate availability will be shipped within an estimated timeframe of 2 to 5 business days after payment confirmation;
• Products with specific delivery times (either made to order or depending on supplier availability) will be clearly marked in the product description;
• Amar&Peónias is not responsible for delays caused by shipping companies, strikes, natural events, or other external factors, but will provide the necessary support to resolve any issues.

Returns

Under Portuguese law (Decree-Law No. 24/2014, of February 14), the customer has the right to withdraw from the purchase within 14 days of receiving the order, except in the following cases:

• Personalized or made-to-order products;
• Items showing signs of use, damage, or missing original packaging and tags;
• Products that, due to their nature, cannot be returned for hygiene or integrity reasons.

Return requests must be submitted in writing via Amar&Peónias official contact channels.

Exchanges

Exchanges are accepted under the following conditions:

• The product is in perfect condition, unused, and with intact packaging and tags;
• The request is made within 14 days of receiving the item;
• Stock is available for the desired replacement.

Customized or made-to-measure items are not eligible for exchange.

Refunds

For eligible cases, refunds will be processed within a maximum of 14 business days after receiving and verifying the returned item.

• Refunds will be made via the same payment method used in the original purchase;
• Shipping costs from the initial order are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error by Amar&Peónias.

Applicable Law and Juristiction

Amar&Peónias reserves the right to update these Terms and Conditions without prior notice. Any changes will only apply to future orders.

Any contractual relationship arising from the services provided through the Website to which these Terms and Conditions apply is subject to Portuguese law. The competent court, as provided by law, shall have jurisdiction to resolve any disputes arising from contractual relationships to which these Terms and Conditions apply, or any non-contractual disputes that are in any way related to the services provided through the Website.

In the event of a consumer dispute, under the terms of Law No. 144/2015 of September 8, the consumer may also resort to the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (available at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr) or to the following alternative consumer dispute resolution entities:
